Velasquez Ventures LLC | 1749 S 204th Ct, Elkhorn, NE 68022 | (531) 721-0298 | info@velasquezventuresllc.com

This notice describes the currently configured website and separately identifies what would occur if request intake or later commercial services are enabled. Public contact, quote-request and order-request intake is currently unavailable.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Velasquez Ventures LLC ("Velasquez Ventures," "VV," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains personal information in connection with our website, business inquiries, quotations, orders, customer and supplier communications, and related business operations.

Velasquez Ventures primarily serves business, commercial, institutional, and professional customers. Certain privacy laws, including the Nebraska Data Privacy Act, distinguish between individuals acting in a personal or household context and individuals acting in a commercial or employment context. We handle business-contact information under this Policy even when particular statutory consumer rights do not apply.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, the following information may be processed. The public request forms are currently unavailable; the descriptions of successful request intake below apply only if that service is enabled.

Contact form: name, email address, optional telephone number and message.

Quote and order-request forms: business name, contact name, email address, optional telephone number and desired delivery frequency, request type, product descriptions and quantities, optional current brand or SKU, item notes and general notes. A catalog-based request may also include an item reference, catalog version and unit of measure. These forms do not request payment-card details, process payments, or authorize charges. Do not include payment-card numbers or other sensitive information in message or notes fields.

Request records, if intake is enabled: the submitted information, a normalized copy used for review, line items, a receipt reference, submission time, retry reference and integrity/audit information. A successful receipt is not an issued quote, accepted order, payment or supplier purchase.

Website and security information: hosting and authentication providers process technical information associated with visits and access, such as network information, request paths, timestamps, browser or device information, responses and diagnostic or security logs. Processing associated with delivering and securing the website can occur even while request intake is unavailable.

Abuse prevention, if intake is enabled: form timing and an anti-spam field are checked; a protected identifier derived from the visitor network address and a hash derived from the submitted email address are used with timestamps to limit repeated submissions. These identifiers are not treated as anonymous information.

Authorized account access: email address, authentication information, session records and relevant access permissions. General inquiry forms are not sign-up, account-approval or permission-granting mechanisms. Customer account features are not offered merely because a login mechanism exists.

Other direct business communications: information you choose to provide by email, telephone, paper correspondence or another agreed channel, and related business notes where we maintain them. Later quotations, accepted sales, invoicing, tax/exemption documentation, delivery and payment activities may require additional information if those activities are separately offered; this notice does not represent that website checkout or payment collection is active.

3. Information We Do Not Intend to Collect Through General Website Forms

Do not submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card credentials, account passwords, precise geolocation, medical records, biometric identifiers or other sensitive personal information through general contact, quote-request or order-request forms, or ordinary inquiry email. If VV separately requests information for a lawful purpose, use only the specific secure process identified for that purpose, not a general inquiry field. Enter a sign-in password only in the dedicated authorized sign-in field.

4. How We Use Information

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

Respond to direct inquiries and, if request intake is enabled, review submitted requests and communicate with the sender.

Operate authorized accounts and restrict administrative access; operate, secure, troubleshoot and maintain our website and systems.

Detect misuse, limit repeated submissions and preserve request and audit evidence when a submission is accepted.

Verify business, product, supplier and transaction information where appropriate to an authorized activity, and meet applicable legal, tax, accounting or contractual obligations.

Issuing quotes, accepting or fulfilling orders, taking payment and coordinating a supplier purchase are separate business steps. A website request does not perform or authorize them. If such services are later offered, information may be used as needed for that separately agreed activity.

The public request workflow does not automatically send request content to an external AI service. This description concerns that workflow; it is not a representation about every separate business tool or manually handled communication.

5. How We May Disclose Information

We use Vercel to host and operate the website, Supabase for database and authentication services, and Google Workspace/Gmail for business email. Those providers process information needed to deliver, secure and support these services. If request intake is enabled, accepted submissions are stored in our restricted business system for authorized administrative review. They are not made public by receipt of a request.

Current website request processing does not send an automatic confirmation email or automatically forward a request to a supplier. A delivery or marketing service is not active merely because related software is installed.

We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to:

Providers actually engaged for business communications, document management, accounting or another disclosed business function. Additional payment, marketing or other services will be reviewed before their use changes the practices described here.

Manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, fulfillment providers or carriers when needed for a separately reviewed sourcing, quote, fulfillment, return or support activity. A public request alone does not trigger a supplier purchase.

Professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers and consultants for appropriate business purposes.

Government agencies, courts, law enforcement or others when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property or business integrity.

A buyer, successor, lender, investor or advisor in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards where applicable.

6. Sale of Personal Data and Targeted Advertising

Current Velasquez Ventures policy is not to sell personal data for monetary or other valuable consideration and not to use personal data for targeted advertising based on a person's activity over time across nonaffiliated websites or applications. If our practices change in a way that triggers additional notice, consent, or opt-out rights, this Policy and our operational controls must be updated before that practice begins.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

The website uses functional browser storage. A local request list can retain item references, descriptions and quantities in your browser until you clear the list or browser storage. If a request is successfully submitted after intake is enabled, a receipt reference and status may be kept in browser session storage. Authorized login and invitation sessions use authentication cookies or similar session mechanisms.

Hosting, authentication and security services may also process technical request information. Disabling public request intake does not disable all browser storage or hosting/security logging. Changing browser storage settings may limit functionality and does not delete information already held in business systems.

No advertising or cross-site tracking was detected in the reviewed website configuration. The current website does not integrate advertising pixels, session replay or customer-behavior analytics. This does not mean that the website uses no cookies, that technical data is anonymous, or that no service provider processes information.

If we introduce analytics, advertising, chat, tracking or another technology that changes these practices, we will review applicable notice and choice requirements and update this notice as appropriate before the new use begins.

8. Email and Business Communications

We use Google Workspace/Gmail for business correspondence and currently send individually prepared business outreach emails. We also communicate about inquiries and other business matters. The current website request workflow does not send an automatic confirmation email; a receipt is not a promise of email delivery.

Submitting an inquiry or acknowledging this Privacy Policy does not subscribe you to marketing or constitute marketing consent. You may opt out of future marketing emails by replying to one of our messages or emailing info@velasquezventuresllc.com. We honor opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law. Permitted nonmarketing transactional or legally required communications may continue.

The website request workflow does not itself add email-open or click tracking. This is not a statement about every setting of a separate email account or mail application.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including completing transactions, maintaining customer and supplier records, supporting warranties or returns, preserving audit and approval evidence, meeting tax and accounting requirements, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with applicable law.

Retention depends on the record, its purpose and applicable obligations; a security rate-limit window is not a deletion deadline. Request and audit records may need to be preserved for integrity, dispute or legal purposes. This does not mean that every record must be kept indefinitely.

A deletion or correction request is reviewed for the information held in active systems, logs and any relevant backups, the rights that apply and any lawful need for continued retention. We do not promise immediate deletion of every copy. There is no self-service deletion function for website request records. Please use the request methods below.

10. Data Security

We use safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, restricted administrative permissions, encrypted connections, software maintenance and security logging. The safeguards applicable to an activity depend on the information and system involved.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We do not guarantee absolute security or represent that a certification, backup retention period or recovery outcome applies unless separately stated and supported.

11. Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on the law that applies to VV, the person and the particular interaction, an individual may have rights to request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, a portable copy of certain data, or an opt-out from certain uses such as sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling. Nebraska's Data Privacy Act generally defines a consumer as a Nebraska resident acting in an individual or household context and excludes individuals acting in a commercial or employment context. It also contains an exemption for qualifying small businesses, subject to a separate restriction on the sale of sensitive data.

Privacy requests may be submitted by either of the following methods:

Email: info@velasquezventuresllc.com, with the subject line "Privacy Request".

Mail: Velasquez Ventures LLC, 1749 S 204th Ct, Elkhorn, NE 68022, Attn: Privacy Request.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the requester and the request. Where applicable law imposes a response deadline, we will respond within the legally required period. Under the Nebraska Data Privacy Act, covered controllers generally must respond within 45 days, subject to a permitted extension in appropriate circumstances.

Requests are reviewed individually; a technical record-preservation control is not by itself a reason to refuse a right that applies under law. We may need to distinguish information we must preserve from information that can lawfully be corrected, restricted or deleted.

12. Appeals

Where applicable law provides an appeal right, a person whose privacy request is denied may appeal by emailing info@velasquezventuresllc.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal" and identifying the prior request. Where the Nebraska Data Privacy Act applies, a covered controller must provide a written response to an appeal within 60 days after receipt of the appeal and, if the appeal is denied, provide information regarding the Nebraska Attorney General complaint process.

13. Sensitive Data

Velasquez Ventures does not intend to sell sensitive personal data. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data through general inquiry or quote forms. If a future business process requires sensitive data, that process must be separately reviewed and must include any notice, consent, minimization, access, and security controls required by applicable law.

14. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through general business channels.

15. Third-Party Sites and Services

Our website or communications may contain links to websites, platforms, or services operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Velasquez Ventures is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.

16. Security Incidents

If Velasquez Ventures discovers a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and take actions reasonably appropriate to the circumstances. Where applicable law requires notification to affected individuals, regulators, or other parties, we will provide notification as required.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy prospectively to reflect changes in our business, technology, legal obligations or data practices. An approved published version will identify its effective date. Material changes will be reviewed so that the notice accurately describes the practices being introduced. Earlier versions will be preserved for version history.

Privacy notice publication does not by itself enable public request intake, create a purchase agreement, activate sales terms for a transaction, or authorize quote issuance.
